New year, clear space: a room-by-room decluttering guide
Start 2026 with less clutter and more purpose. Our practical room-by-room guide helps you declutter and donate items to charity bins near you.
Nestled on High Street in the heart of Belmont, this Brotherhood of St Laurence op shop has been a fixture of the Geelong community for years. Locals from Belmont, Highton, Grovedale, and surrounding suburbs regularly pop in with donations of clothing, shoes, books, and homewares. The store sits near the Belmont Library, making it easy to combine a book drop with a donation run. Everything you donate here directly supports the Brotherhood's work helping Australians overcome disadvantage through employment programs, aged care services, and community support initiatives. The friendly volunteer team welcomes donations Monday through Saturday from 9:30am to 5pm. Whether you're downsizing, doing a seasonal wardrobe clear-out, or simply want your pre-loved items to find new homes, this Belmont store makes giving back simple and rewarding.
