Yes, all Save the Children op shops are run by volunteers. Without the regular contribution of volunteers, they simply couldn't open these stores. Many retail volunteers have been with Save the Children for many years because the op shops are such wonderful places to be.
Save the Children focuses on four key areas: Health - improving child and family health so children no longer die of preventable illnesses; Education - creating access to quality education in safe environments; Protection - ensuring children are safe from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence; and Support - providing care and emotional support when disaster strikes.
